This is a salaried position.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of lab tests on construction materials, including concrete, asphalt, and soil
- Analyze and interpret test results, and ensure that all testing is completed accurately and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Maintain lab equipment and supplies, and ensure that all lab-related activities are carried out in accordance with best practices and standards
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that lab testing aligns with project requirements and timelines
- Communicate lab-related information to stakeholders
- Identify and report any quality control issues or concerns
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience in a quality control role in construction industry preferred but not required - we provide complete training and support to obtain required certifications
- Strong technical skills, with a deep understanding of lab testing processes and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- A commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace
