Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a QA&QC Specialist! This role is responsible for ensuring residential and commercial energy efficiency projects meet all contractual, technical, and quality standards. The position plays a key role in maintaining program integrity, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting continuous improvement through participation in quality investigations.

Successful candidates will reside in Fort Smith, Arkansas for frequent travel within the territory.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule QA/QC appointments with program participants.
  • Conduct thorough QA/QC inspections and residential energy audits, and commercial buildings including on‑site verifications and electronic review of application and field data.
  • Record inspection results, customer and contractor interactions, and ensure documentation aligns with program requirements.
  • Provide input and status updates to program staff and Quality Department leadership regarding inspection outcomes and compliance status.
  • Validate that in‑field improvements meet the submitted scope and program standards using processes defined in established program QA/QC plans.
  • Communicate deficiencies to stakeholders and coordinate remediation.
  • Schedule follow‑up inspections as needed to verify resolution.
  • Support other quality control activities as needed, including documentation, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Travel throughout a defined territory to perform inspections and verifications.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or Associate’s Degree preferred.
  • Industry‑recognized technical certifications (e.g., BPI, RESNET) strongly preferred.
  • Experience in industries such as construction, facility maintenance, or installation.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to build trust with customers and contractors.
Physical Nature of the Job
  • Frequent bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
  • Use of repetitive hand motion.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds.
  • Use of power tools as needed.
Driving
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license in the state where you are employed, with a driving record that meets CLEAResult’s minimum safety standard.

This is a safety‑sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or require driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post‑offer, pre‑employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record.

Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver’s license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.
