Job Summary
The Travel RN provides patient care in the Stepdown unit, caring for post-cardiac surgery patients and those requiring close monitoring. The RN works with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality, safe, and efficient care for critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage post-CV surgery patients
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol)
• Manage Bipaps, Airvos, and recognize deteriorating patient conditions
• Document patient care in EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements

• Current Arkansas RN License
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
• 2+ years of Stepdown or acute care experience
• Experience with post-CV surgeries and cardiac medication management
