Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical Telemetry (EDU) unit on night shifts, requiring an active AR or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent telemetry experience.

• Medical Telemetry unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Every other weekend required
• No call or float requirements
• EMR:
  Epic
• This is an education-focused unit — candidates who enjoy precepting and mentoring students are strongly preferred
• Black scrubs required; open-toe shoes are not permitted
• Up to 5 days of RTO allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documented renewal is already scheduled

• Active RN license in Arkansas or a valid compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in Medical Telemetry
• No gaps in employment of 90 or more days within the past 12 months
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)
