Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry position on day shift, requiring an active AR or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

• Work in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:00
• Position is based in the Pivot Unit
• 13-week contract assignment
• Up to five days of requested time off are allowed if made up during the assignment
• Local candidates living within 50 miles will be subject to assignment duration limitations and alternative compensation rates
• Multiple consecutive local contracts come with restrictions on contract renewal within the 50-mile radius
• Blocked scheduling may be allowed based on facility needs
• Assignment requires a consistent recent work history

• Active AR or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Current certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal is scheduled
• At least 1 year of recent Med Surg or Telemetry nursing experience required
• At least 2 years of total nursing experience preferred
• No employment gaps greater than 90 days within the past 12 months
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required;
  Canadian SINs not accepted
