2nd Shift: Further Processing Plant

Dept. 1822 Fork Lift Operator

Shift Time: 6:00 p.m.

- 4:00 a.m.

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour.

FORKLIFT AND COMPUTER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

• $1/hour weekly attendance incentive.

Operates a forklift or power‑jack to move and load product by performing the duties listed below.

• Assist in the production of quality food products by performing the following duties as applicable to a specific task or department.
• Set‑up/tear‑down workstation & line as required.
• Operate a forklift or power‑jack to move and load product.
• Use a forklift or power‑jack to move pallets.
• Load outgoing shipments.
• Unload incoming shipments.
• Complete paperwork.
• Count materials in stock and post totals to inventory records.
• Fill in for fellow employees when needed due to absences, vacations, production needs, etc.
• Down stack products when needed.
• Perform physical inventory of all materials in the warehouse.
• Clean the warehouse floors.
• Maintain work area in a safe and sanitary manner at a pace fast enough to keep up with the capacity of the machine.
• Stand for a period of time, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 POUNDS.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
