Sheeter Helper in Fort Smith, Arkansas

United Trades of America is looking for several positions in the Fort Smith area.

Shift is 12-hour shift

Requires weekends, holidays, and frequent overtime.

Tobacco-Free Facility inside and outside for 12-hour shift.

Must be willing to pass a drug and background screening.

Must have an HS diploma or GED.

Pay Range depending on experience $14.75 to $18.00.

Dependable Transportation.

• Participates in overall product outcome associated with Sheeter Presses.
• Interprets and documents standards related to product performance and quality.
• Assists in the maintenance and set up of equipment for customer product.
• Supervision for position is random.

• Must be able to operate and be familiar with the flexo print requirements.
• Must be able to handle re‑stacking stock.
• Must become familiar with technical aspects of press and be able to troubleshoot if needed.
• Must be able to assist with CI sorting.
• Must be familiar with SAP and PEAK.
• Must be able to work towards achieving pressroom goals.
• Mechanical skills are a plus.
• Performs other organizational duties as required.
• Must take direction from Shift Supervisor and Sheeter Operator.
• Must complete skill validation requirements for the Sheeter Helper Job.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Requires bending, pulling, walking.

• Knowledge: H.S. Education or equivalent, make‑ready operations, Leary operations, computer literate, feeder packer and case sealer qualified.
• Able to use SAP and PEAK systems.
• Skills:
  
  Mechanical, communication.
• Abilities:
  Good attendance, guide teams and processes, and ability to work alone.
