Job Title:
Mig/Tig Welder with Jig/Fixture capabilities

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Jig Builder to join our stainless‑steel fabrication team. This role involves the design, construction, and maintenance of precision jigs and fixtures used in welding and assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MIG and TIG welding
, blueprint reading, and fabrication techniques specific to stainless steel materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and fabricate custom jigs and fixtures to support efficient and accurate welding and assembly processes.
  • Perform high‑quality MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel components in accordance with engineering specifications and industry standards.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine jig requirements.
  • Ensure jigs and fixtures maintain tight tolerances and proper alignment to facilitate consistent production output.
  • Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and production personnel to optimize jig designs and manufacturing workflows.
  • Conduct routine inspections, repairs, and modifications of jigs to maintain performance and extend usability.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in stainless steel fabrication, including MIG and TIG welding.
  • Proven experience in jig and fixture design/building.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, grinders, cutting equipment, and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team‑oriented environment.
  • Welding certification(s) a plus.
