Dept. 106 - Production Worker - HEAVY LIFTER

Shift Time: 5:30 am - 2:30 pm

Pay Rate: $16.25 per hour.

• $1/hour weekly attendance incentive.

• Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required.
• Removes tenders from carcass.
• Sort and grade product.
• Make boxes.
• Bag finished product.
• Pack bagged product into boxes.
• Tape boxes.
• Scale boxed product to required weight.
• Label boxes as applicable to customer specifications.
• Maintain work area in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Production workers are required to stand for a period of time, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms.
• The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 POUNDS.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
