This Position reports to:
Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Job Description:
- Support manufacturing engineering with process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and development of new equipment, layouts, and processes.
- Assist with design, implementation, and documentation of fixtures, tooling, manufacturing instructions, standard work, and training materials.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities including time studies, RCFA/DMAIC projects, preventive maintenance, and cycle time, scrap, and rework reduction.
- Collaborate with engineers, production, and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues while supporting safety, quality, and operational excellence initiatives.
Education and Experience Needed:
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited university in the study of Engineering or Engineering Technology.
- Must pass a background and drug screen and have valid U.S. work authorization.
- Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English is essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
- Regular attendance and availability for overtime are essential job functions.
