Position Overview

Supervisor, Laboratory Support Services

This position is responsible for accurate, precise and timely collection of laboratory samples and testing as required. Laboratory Supervisors are responsible for assuring compliance and meeting all regulatory requirements consistent with a World Class Laboratory. The role also includes Human Resources functions such as scheduling and performance reviews. Excellence in customer service aligned with Mercy Signature Service, and Mercy Leadership Attributes are required.

• Accurately collect, test, and manage laboratory samples.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain World Class Laboratory quality.
• Conduct Human Resources functions: scheduling and performance reviews.
• Exhibit excellent customer service in internal and external interactions.
• Demonstrate Mercy Leadership Attributes.

• High School Degree (preferred Associate's Degree).
• Three years clinical laboratory experience (previous leadership experience preferred).
• ASCP certification (preferred).
