Overview
Our client, a manufacturing facility in Fort Smith, is in the early stages of implementing a new custom-built cloud ERP system and needs someone to own that process from the inside. This role will work closely with the ERP vendor, participate in implementation meetings, and become the internal expert on the new system, all while learning the current ERP to understand existing pain points and ensure nothing gets lost in the transition.
You ll need to jump in, figure things out, and take ownership.

This role will work closely with the ERP vendor, participate in implementation meetings, and become the internal expert on the new system, all while learning the current ERP to understand existing pain points and ensure nothing gets lost in the transition.

ERP Implementation & Development
- Become the internal point person for the new ERP implementation, working directly with the cloud vendor
- Participate in implementation meetings and translate business needs into system requirements
- Learn the current ERP system to document workflows, pain points, and gaps
- Build reports, dashboards, and queries within the ERP
- Develop integrations between the ERP and other business systems using APIs, scripts, or no-code/low-code tools
- Configure, test, and troubleshoot system functionality
Power User & Technical Resource
- Serve as the in-house ERP power user and go-to resource for system questions
- Create and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Develop training materials and documentation for end users
- Provide light technical support and coordinate with external IT partners as needed
- Some coding/scripting experience (Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar); formal education or self-taught
- Interest or experience working with APIs and system integrations
- Familiarity with no-code/low-code tools (Zapier, Make, Power Automate, or similar) is a plus
- Comfortable learning new software quickly and independently
- Strong self-starter mentality - you ll figure things out, ask the right questions, and take ownership
- Ability to work directly with vendors and translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Solid documentation skills
- Basic understanding of IT fundamentals
- Experience working in or with Manufacturing teams is a plus but not required
- Learn by doing and don t wait to be told what to do next
- Enjoy digging into systems to understand how they work
