Summary
Provides radiation therapy treatments under the direction of the Director of Radiation Therapy.
EducationGraduate from an accredited program in Radiation Therapy.
Experience, Training, KnowledgeOne (1) year experience as a radiation therapist preferred.
Certification, Licensure, BondingRegistered Technologist, Category- T from the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT). Must maintain current certification of Basic Life Support, BLS.
Physical Working ConditionsFrequent exposure to communicable disease, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a clinic environment. Varied activities including standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.
This job will be authorized
80.00 hours bi-weekly.
