Position Overview
Works closely and efficiently with other Radiology staff, OR staff, Surgeons, and Interventional Radiologists in performing a wide range of Interventional procedures. Performs related duties as assigned. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Position DetailsMinimum Qualifications
- Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours. - Experience:
1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor's degree program. - License(s):
State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. If practicing in Arkansas, a Radiologic Technologist License is required. - Certification(s): ARRT.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
- Effective communication.
- Proficient in the use of:
Digital Angiography Equipment, Interventional equipment, PACS, Computers. - Stand for up to six hours with protective gear (lead apron, mask, gown, glasses, gloves).
- Manipulating Angiography equipment, including mobile and other equipment.
- Lifting, moving, and transporting patients.
- Continual standing and walking.
- Evaluate and process digital images.
- Able to recognize emergency situations.
- Ability to adapt to stressful situations.
