Summary of

Job Duties:

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses to support the Bachelor of Science in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering program (Automation, Fluid Power, GD&T, Instrumentation, Machine Analysis, Manufacturing Process Planning, PLC Applications, Quality Planning and Control, Smart Manufacturing, etc.), maintaining an active research or professional development agenda, and sustaining interaction with the engineering profession. Other duties will include engagement with business and industry; assessment of student learning;

career advisement; student recruitment and retention activities; participation in college and University committees. The position reports to the department head of engineering in the College of Business and Industry.

Qualifications:

Required Education and/or

Work Experience:

Ph.D. in Engineering from an accredited institution (ABD considered) and experience working in manufacturing

Preferred Education and/or

Work Experience:

Previous teaching experience and/or experience in student recruitment and advising.
