Job Duties:

This position serves as a faculty member in the School of Education and will teach a wide range of undergraduate courses for candidates seeking degrees with licensure in Elementary Education (K-6), Middle Level Education (4-8), Secondary Education (7-12), and/or K-12 Education. Responsibilities include supporting candidates' progress through coursework; advising students in elementary and middle level programs; and integrating research‑based instructional practices and relevant technology throughout teaching.

The faculty member will collaborate with key stakeholders, including local school districts, educational cooperatives, and the Arkansas Department of Education, to support program quality, alignment with licensure expectations, and continuous improvement efforts. Additionally, the individual will participate in university, college, and departmental service; maintain an active scholarly agenda; and engage in ongoing professional development to remain current in the field.
