Summary of
Job Duties:
Teach in one of the following subject areas as assigned:
Anthropology, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Religion, Sociology. This is a pool position. Applicants will be contacted as positions become available. The position reports to the department head/program director/dean who assigns responsibilities regarding student needs and course outcomes.
- Classroom and online instruction
- Assess and evaluate student learning
- Responsible for maintaining a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to foster teamwork and by providing leadership to subordinates
- Requires consistent on‑time attendance

Work Experience:
Qualifications of instructors teaching in the classroom for both lower and/or upper‑level courses leading to an associate or bachelor’s degree requires a master’s degree in the discipline or related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credits in the subject area. Courses leading to a master’s require a doctorate degree. Adjunct faculty with a clinical assignment must be prepared at the level required by accreditation.
Instructors in occupational and technical areas are generally required to have a minimum of an associate’s degree and related work experience. Other job‑related education and/or experience may be substituted for part of these requirements. - Preferred Education and or
