Interventional Cardiologists Needed at Baptist Health Medical Center in Ft. Smith, Arkansas
Baptist Health Medical Center in Ft. Smith, Arkansas is seeking to recruit three Interventional Cardiologists to its Cardiology Clinic, located two blocks from the hospital. The clinic currently has two physicians with 20+ years of experience (one Interventional and one Invasive) along with five APRNs (two clinic and three hospital) with plans to add an additional APRN. Call is 10 days per month to include one weekend;
call can decrease as physicians are added to the group.
• Join the Cardiology Clinic team and participate in patient care at Baptist Health Medical Center-Ft. Smith.
• Provide interventional and non‑invasive cardiology services as credentialed/privileged.
• Participate in patient scheduling, clinic coverage, and after‑hours call as outlined above.
• Engage in procedures per physician credentialing/privileges. Cardiology modalities offered in the clinic include EKG, Echo, treadmill stress testing, nuclear stress testing, INR clinic, pacemaker clinic, and Holter monitoring.
• Procedures performed at Baptist Health Medical Center-Ft. Smith cath lab include cardiac catheterization, pacemakers/implantable devices, angiography, aortography, tilt table, transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE), angioplasty, and cardioversion. The electronic health record is EPIC.
