Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Financial Planning Assistant to join their team in Fort Smith, AR. This role plays a vital part in providing top-notch client service, supporting financial planning efforts, and assisting with administrative and marketing tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle front office duties and provide backup for phone calls.
• Assist with client meeting preparation and compile financial planning data.
• Generate progress reports and update financial statements.
• Manage IRA withdrawals, contributions, and cash flow verification.
• Review and process OST beneficiary designations.
• Prepare 401(k) reports and gather ratings from S&P, Morningstar, and Big Charts.
• Create proposals for long-term care and term insurance.
• Assist with seminar prep by compiling materials and supporting Excel data management.

• Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator to assist with event setup, mailings, and promotional efforts.

• Manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and organize client files.
• Prepare documents, correspondence, and forms as directed by advisors.
• Perform additional administrative duties as needed.

• Highly organized with an eye for detail.
• Comfortable working with financial data and reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• A proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills.
