About the Role:

We're looking for a detail-oriented, self‑motivated Bookkeeper to support our growing business with ongoing weekly accounting tasks. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys organizing financials, maintaining clean books, and supporting a small business with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all day‑to‑day bookkeeping in Quick Books Online

Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and merchant accounts weekly

Record customer payments, deposits, and write-offs as needed

Process vendor bills, schedule payments, and maintain accurate A/P records

Track recurring revenue and monthly lease invoices

Manage inventory-related entries (parts, equipment, retail sales)

Maintain accurate fixed‑asset and depreciation records

Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports

Monitor cash flow and flag discrepancies or trends

Ensure sales tax reporting is accurate and completed on time

Assist with year‑end prep for CPA (1099s, clean reports, reconciled accounts)

What We're Looking For

2+ years of bookkeeping experience (Quick Books required)

Strong understanding of inventory management, sales tax, and job costing

Experience working with businesses that manage service invoices, work orders, or recurring monthly rentals

Ability to work independently and communicate clearly

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Comfortable handling fluctuating monthly volumes

Experience with merchant processors and payment platforms preferred

Nice to Have

Experience with equipment, service-based, or rental-based businesses

Familiarity with reconciling deposits that include multiple revenue streams

Understanding of seasonal business cash‑flow patterns

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate based on experience (W2 or 1099 options)
