CDL A Driver; Kenworth

Position: CDL A Driver (Kenworth)
All Roads Kenworth of South Florida, Fort Pierce location

CDL A Driver or CDL B with manual endorsement.

Great opportunity for a CDL A Driver & Shop Assistant at Kenworth of South Florida in Ft. Pierce. This role is responsible for test driving trucks serviced by our technicians. The ideal candidate will have a some mechanical aptitude (or prior technician experience) and be comfortable communicating mechanical information to the technicians about the vehicles. This position requires operating a manual transmission/stick shift on a daily basis.

Compensation: $20-24 per hour, full time Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

* Observe and follow safety procedures and DOT regulations

* Communicate effectively with technicians about mechanical issues

* Provide accurate service to customers with pick up and deliveries as needed

* General shop assistance, clean up as needed

* Remain alert while operating the vehicle

* Communicate effectively with employees and customers

* All other duties as assigned.

Required

Education and Experience

* High School Diploma or GED required

* Valid CDL A or B Driver's License with manual endorsement

* Must have a clean driving record

* 2+ years of delivery/driving experience

* Must be at least 21 years of age

* Current DOT medical card
