Technician Cleaner – Plasman Plant

Job Schedule

• Work:
  Friday through Tuesday, 10 pm to 6:30 am (off Wednesday & Thursday)
• Work:
  Wednesday through Sunday, 10 pm to 6:30 am (off Monday & Tuesday)

The purpose of this position is to perform hands‑on work for MPW FEM and provide manpower for all labor support jobs.

This role supports manufacturing operations by performing cleaning, maintenance, and operational tasks as directed by team leaders, supervisors, or account managers.

• Arrive on time and maintain a courteous and constructive attitude toward team members and customers.
• Perform cleaning work efficiently and safely, ensuring equipment operates at high quality.
• Report problem areas to the team leader.
• Maintain work areas, break areas, and equipment in a clean, neat, and orderly condition.
• Complete daily summary information at shift end.
• Submit process control paperwork, shift logs, and inventory reports to the team leader upon request.
• Assist the team leader with on‑the‑job training of new hires and transfers when required.
• Ensure personal safety and help maintain safety standards for the team.
• Understand and adhere to all information in the employee handbook.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and MPW safety standards.
• Follow directions from supervisors and report any issues immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; some high school education acceptable.
• Understanding of mechanical concepts and applications.
• Professional oral and written interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Ability to move up to 50 lbs., with or without accommodation.
• Maintain a consistent workload involving physical manual labor.
• Maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
• Position oneself in and around confined spaces.
• Wear respirators in environments that may expose you to chemicals, fumes, etc.
• Possibility of travel to various states for days or weeks, and occasional shifts exceeding typical 8‑hour duration.
