Summary
Produces both plastic and wood parts by programming, setting up, and operating both numerical control CNC machines, packaging, assembly, loading, mechanical drills, saws, sanders, and other hand tools while maintaining quality and safety standards. Enter production into shop order program while maintaining equipment and supplies. Also, responsible for duties in HDPE Associate 1 if necessary.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations by all employees.
Interprets blueprints and makes part within the tolerance.
Maintains utilization specified by supervisor.
Works with hands, lifts or holds heavy items.
Claims and reports work as completed to supervisor or lead.

- No formal education level required.
- Must have experience running CNC router or ability to be trained.
No travel.
Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Reasoning AbilityMust have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in operating HDPE computer to claim production, open files and run files on CNC router.
Other Skills- Forklift Operator or ability to be trained.
- Must have the ability to safely operate or use hand tools, such as electric routers.
