You will work with teammates in a safe climate‑controlled environment to manufacture parts for large generators. The primary purpose of this position is to build or make parts by crafting, forming, and building various materials according to blueprints and instructions.

• Inspect parts for quality.
• Operate machines, including setup and adjustments.
• Use hand tools to build, form, bend, punch, grind, cut, brazing, buffing, and weld parts; use testing, electrical, and measurement equipment.
• Lift and load parts to transport them to various areas or machines.
• Apply coatings and solutions to parts per instructions; use ovens to bake and cure parts.
• Read blueprints, drawings, engineering specifications, and work package information to resolve operational requirements and assemble and install parts according to instructions.
• Participate with teammates to keep the plant safe, organized, and clean; perform daily area cleaning.
• Complete employment requirements, including drug screening and background check.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; early professional experience in manufacturing preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English for instructions, safety signage, and communication.
• Potential requirement to take a Work Keys assessment and meet a minimum score.
• Strong mental and visual attention; ability to work through intermittent flow and waiting periods.
• Good judgment and comprehension to plan, perform, follow written and verbal instructions, and make decisions about building, inspecting, and manipulating parts.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without future employer‑sponsored work authorization; internal transfers for current Siemens Energy employees with visa sponsorship may be available.
