Manufacturing Specialist

Manufacturing Specialist role at Siemens Energy

Overview

You will work with teammates in a safe, comfortable, climate‑controlled environment to manufacture parts for large generators. The primary purpose is to build or make parts by creating, forming, and assembling various materials according to blueprints and instructions.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect parts for quality achievement.
  • Operate machinery, including setup and adjustments.
  • Use hand tools for building, forming, bending, punching, grinding, cutting, brazing, buffing, and welding.
  • Use testing, electrical, and measurement equipment and apply solutions to parts per instructions.
  • Use appliances such as ovens to bake and cure parts.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, engineering specifications, and work‑package information to determine required operations.
  • Follow Siemens Energy policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required). Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English instructions, safety signage, and work instructions.
  • Moderate computer skills.
  • Good dexterity and coordination for hand‑based tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail to avoid assembly and quality errors.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship (internal transfer possible for visa holders).
