General Lube & Preventative Maintenance Technician

We're currently seeking a skilled and dependable General Lube & Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team.

As a General Lube & Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance services and inspections on commercial vehicles to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation. This position plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day readiness of our DOT fleet.

• Perform oil changes, lube services, fluid checks and top-offs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections (PMIs) according to company and DOT standards
• Inspect brakes, tires, lights, batteries, belts, hoses, and other essential systems
• Record maintenance work using fleet maintenance software and ensure proper documentation
• Communicate with maintenance supervisors about vehicle conditions and potential repairs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Assist with road service calls as needed

• 1+ year experience in diesel/heavy equipment maintenance preferred (entry-level candidates with training will be considered)
• Familiarity with DOT safety and maintenance standards a plus
• Basic mechanical aptitude and use of hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus but not required)
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
