Neo Genomics is seeking a passionate Specimen Transport Specialist based in Fort Myers, FL to join our logistics team. The shift is Monday‑Friday 6:30 pm to 3:00 am.

The Specimen Transport Specialist will perform daily activities of picking up, delivering, and storing specimens and related materials according to departmental guidelines. This is an entry‑level logistics role.

• Drive a vehicle to pick‑up, deliver, and properly store specimens and materials on assigned route or as needed.
• Promote a positive image and communicate effectively with clients, employees, and the public.
• Perform route audits and quality assurance checks of samples.
• Maintain knowledge of routes; back up assigned drivers.
• Ensure accurate, on‑time specimen collection.
• Maintain records and documentation of all items received and delivered.
• Report on time to work, following attendance guidelines.
• Keep vehicle area neat; dispose of biohazard containers when scheduled.
• Maintain service vehicles; submit fuel receipts and maintenance logs weekly.
• Adhere to company grooming, uniform, and safety policies.
• Assist accessioning with incoming specimens during the day.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Logistics Manager or Supervisor/Lead.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of driving experience (prior medical courier and customer service experience preferred).
• Ability to read a map and to read/write English.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to sit continuously during shift (excluding meal and rest periods).
• Ability to move and lift 50 pounds and maneuver heavier packages with assistance.
• Good customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel desired.
• Capacity to work in a biohazard environment and comply with safety policies.
