Location: The Club at Renaissance 12821 Renaissance Way, Ft. Myers, FL 33912.
Job Type: Part-Time.
Reports To: Spa & Fitness Manager.
Position Overview: The Club at Renaissance is seeking a professional, customer-focused Fitness & Spa Front Desk Attendant to provide exceptional service to our members and guests. This role is responsible for front desk operations, class and service scheduling, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our fitness and spa facilities. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced private club environment.
Key Responsibilities- Member & Guest Services:
- Warmly greets members and guests upon arrival and departure.
- Checks in members and guests for fitness classes, racquet clinics, private lessons, personal training, and spa appointments.
- Communicates and enforces fitness center rules and procedures.
- Assists members with class registration, guest validation, and payment collection.
- Provides and manages locker keys and towels.
- Facility & Equipment Monitoring:
- Oversees fitness areas, including the gym, aquatic areas, group exercise rooms, and locker rooms, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
- Performs light custodial duties (wiping down machines, picking up items, laundering towels and sheets, etc.).
- Reports maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Point of Sale & Scheduling:
- Uses Northstar P.O.S. and Mindbody software to process sales and manage appointments.
- Responsible for sales transactions, including class fees, spa services, and guest charges.
- Schedules massage and esthetician appointments accurately.
- Operations & Administrative Support:
- Implements and upholds club policies and procedures.
- Completes opening and closing duties as required.
- Maintains inventory and notifies supervisors of restocking needs.
- Communicates policy or procedural updates to the department.
- Resolves member concerns in a timely, professional manner.
- Weekend Availability is REQUIRED.
- Tuesday: 10:30 AM – Close.
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – Close.
- Sunday: 8:00 AM – Close.
- Closing varies from 5 PM – 8 PM in season.
- Required training shifts will be available Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.
- Additional availability: Weekdays as needed;
Holidays as needed;
On-call shifts as needed.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (Required). - Experience:
- Receptionist – 1 year (Preferred).
- Fitness/Spa Attendant – 1 year (Preferred).
- License:
Valid Driver’s License (Required).
- This is an on-site position (No remote work available).
