Mobile Heavy Equipment Field Technician
$28.00 – $34.00/hour
Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7 AM – 5 PM
Fort Myers, FL
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Mobile Field Technician with a background in tractors or heavy equipment repair. This is a full-time role with a long-standing, family-owned company that has served the Fort Myers area for over 50 years.

Key Responsibilities:
Service and repair a range of construction equipment including skid steers, backhoes, and excavators
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, A/C, fuel, cooling, exhaust, and transmission issues
Use a dealer-provided laptop to diagnose and service units in the field
Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs
Maintain and operate a company-provided dedicated service truck
Communicate with the service team and customers to ensure timely and accurate repairs
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of mechanical experience with heavy equipment or tractors (required)
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently without lifting restrictions
Must have a valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)
Must supply your own complete set of tools (specialty tools provided)
Job Details:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM
40 to 45 hours per week
Occasional weekend work may be required
Hourly pay: $28.00 – $34.00 depending on experience
