The work you will do:
Electrician/transportation support
This position will: perform a wide range of skilled and semi-skilled technical maintenance, repair, and construction work across multiple trades, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, hvac, and general facility upkeep. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and safety devices district-wide; conducting routine preventive maintenance on hvac and refrigeration systems; and performing inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
Additional duties include obtaining quotes and purchasing materials per departmental policies, responding to maintenance work orders, coordinating and overseeing contractor work, and operating building systems such as generators, elevators, ups, cctv, and life safety systems. The role also involves maintaining detailed maintenance records, managing inventory of tools and supplies, training co-workers, and performing other assigned duties while traveling to various locations.

Your specific responsibilities:
Performs a variety of technical and non-technical trade skilled work which may include the performance of, repairing, remodeling, altering, constructing, and/or maintaining hard-wall and modular offices; carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, painting; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (hvac) and other general trades applicable to routine and emergency repairs and maintenance. Will be driving to various locations. Installs, maintains, alters, and repairs wiring, power appliances, light machinery and electrical circuits on equipment, buildings, highway lighting, and electrical safety devices throughout the district one area of responsibility.
Operates various equipment in support of this activity, such as: bucket truck, pick-up truck. Locates and corrects power failures and short circuits. Locates and marks existing underground utilities for construction activities. Performs electrical work on deep well water pumps, sump pumps, motor generator sets, air compressors and any other electrical device on a district-wide basis.
Receives, completes, and responds to general building maintenance work order requests. Maintains records, logs, correspondence, and other documents related to building maintenance and repairs as directed. Conducts periodic…
