Learn more about our company and history at  or visit our company's Facebook page at Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers Inc. Fire Sprinkler Helpers Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers is looking for Fire Sprinkler Helpers in our Fort Myers, FL, branch to work in the surrounding areas.

Our Helpers are responsible for providing assistance to Service Foremen and Inspectors on a daily basis. The Service Helper reports to the Service & Alarms Superintendent/Manager and works under the guidance of the Service Foreman on jobsites. This is a fast-paced role that requires frequent ladder climbing, overhead work, and the use of industry tools. Candidates must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and regularly perform physical tasks such as reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing, and walking.

Work closely with the Foreman on job sites to troubleshoot, repair, and install fire sprinkler systems accurately, on schedule, and within budget. Follow procedures and instructions to troubleshoot, repair, add/relocate, and install fire sprinkler systems. Attend monthly safety meetings at the local branch. Working outside on job sites for long hours in all seasons including summer months. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, bending, lifting, and climbing.

Lifting will include up to 70 pounds.

• Construction experience preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools.
• Travel within the local community is required.
• Must possess the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to wear proper protective equipment as required on all job sites.
• Working outside on job sites for long hours in all seasons including summer months.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and pre-employment background check screening including 10 years of employment verification is required to be hired at Wayne Automatic.
