Position: Healthcare Sales Growth Consultant

Overview

We’re growing rapidly as we seek to rescue more and more seniors from inadequate health care.

We’re looking for a Membership Growth Consultant (MGC): an outside healthcare sales representative responsible for generating sales leads and membership by nurturing productive relationships with senior citizens, key local community partners and senior-focused businesses to enroll new patients to Chen Med. The MGC is the first of three separate tiers as part of the overall MGC Success Plan and growth career path at Chen Med.

The incumbent develops skills to arrange, design, and orchestrate sales events and to develop fun and cost-effective techniques to keep senior participation and satisfaction high, in part to drive referral sales from satisfied patients to help fuel membership growth. He/She learns to effectively communicate the Chen Med/Jen Care value proposition at community events.

Responsibilities
  • Nurture, build and cultivate direct-to-seniors and business-to-business partnerships to generate new patient opportunities year-round.
  • Meet with individual seniors and groups in their homes, workplaces, houses of worship, senior centers or living communities to share the Chen Med value proposition.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute local events within the community (e.g., information tables, health fairs, doc talks) to reach ideal patients (medically underserved, Medicare-eligible seniors, age 55 and older).
  • Cultivate strong relationships with health plan agents, independent brokers, social workers, case workers, senior housing managers, and senior centers to keep Chen Med/Jen Care Medical Centers as their top provider choice.
  • Partner with community officials, businesses and senior outreach programs to develop initiatives driving new patient growth.
  • Schedule one-on-one sales meetings and referral relationships with Plan agents, independent brokers and the senior community; manage vendors and negotiate contracts for events.
  • Invite insurance agents/brokers to events to ensure timely patient assignment to Chen Med/Jen Care Medical Centers.
  • Use marketing and sales tools to identify solutions and sell to new customers; maintain up-to-date client information in CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and document interactions.
  • Provide monthly activity calendars and create penetration plans and initiatives in key target markets and channels.
  • Recover dormant customers via sales tools and marketing campaigns.
  • Drive new member growth by educating potential patients on the value proposition and healthcare model; deliver presentations to large audiences when required.
  • Develop distribution channels to support new patient enrollment growth and use sales tools to ensure data collection.
  • Partner with sales leadership to improve engagements with distributors, vendors and community partners.
  • Build trusting relationships with brokers/insurance agents/case workers/third-party vendors; develop and execute broker and partner strategies.
  • Engage with new patients beyond their first appointment; maintain relationships to improve retention and address customer complaints as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
