Description of Responsibilities
:
Great customer service skills. Under the general direction of the Director of IT, the POS Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the daily data entry within the inventory management POS Software, supporting all retail and warehouse locations. Also responsible for the verification of purchase orders, proof of delivery and invoice information, submitting verified and approved invoices for payment to the Finance Department.

Excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to superior customer service. Extensive understanding of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint are required. This position works in an office and a warehouse environment.

Required Experience: High School Diploma or GED required;
Data Entry experience is required; POS experience, including transfers and receiving, preferred. Hands on experience with inventory processes/item maintenance preferred.

Required skills: Ability to learn how to correctly use all point of sale and donation systems, office computer and telephone. Must have skills to work in stressful conditions and use good judgment, patience and understanding. Follow oral and written instructions; familiarity with business related mathematics;
Supervise and train staff in production, merchandising, checkout and customer service; bend, stoop, reach, and twist, lift, push, pull and move items up to 40 pounds; able to stand for long periods of time; may have to occasionally work outdoors where temperatures and climate can fluctuate.
