Bermuda Lakes is looking for a Line Cook at our brand-new restaurant in our scenic RV resort. The Line Cook prepares and cooks menu items at a specific station (grill, sauté, etc.). They manage their station's setup, restocking, cooking to order, plating, and cleaning, all while adhering to strict sanitation and quality standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Line Cook should be a team player, have great physical stamina, and a focus on food safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation:
    Setting up and stocking stations with ingredients, chopping vegetables, mixing sauces, and preparing components for dishes.
  • Cooking:
    Grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to execute orders according to recipes and quality guidelines.
  • Plating & Presentation:
    Assembling dishes correctly and garnishing them for presentation
  • Sanitation & Safety:
    Maintaining a clean work area, sanitizing surfaces and equipment, storing food properly, and following health codes.
  • Inventory & Communication:
    Checking inventory, reporting shortages, and communicating with chefs and other staff.
  • Breakdown:
    Cleaning stations and equipment at the end of the shift.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
  • Teamwork and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes.
