Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef at Olde Hickory Golf and Country Club, located in Fort Myers, Florida. The Sous Chef will support the Executive Chef in overseeing the kitchen operations, managing the culinary team, and ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation for dining services. Responsibilities include menu planning, inventory and food cost management, training staff, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and adhering to health and safety standards.

The Sous Chef will play an integral role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to members and guests in the Clubhouse.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in menu creation, food preparation, and presentation techniques
  • Experience in kitchen management and team collaboration
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and food sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage inventory, cost control, and vendor relationships
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Leadership and communication skills to oversee and train kitchen staff
  • Culinary certifications or a degree in Culinary Arts is preferred
  • Previous experience in fine dining or country club settings is an advantage
