Restaurant Server

Overview

Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resorts and Spa looking for a new team member in food and beverage outlets such as Tarpon House Restaurant, Charley s Cabana Bar, Cove Pool Bar, Princess Cruise, and Courtside Steakhouse Restaurant. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts are available. The ability to work weekends and holidays is required.

• Greets, sells/takes orders, and serves guests in safe and efficient compliance with policies and procedures, brand standards, and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Processes guest checks and collect payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card transactions, room charge processing, and accounting policies and procedures.
• Promptly reports emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, engineering items, and safety hazards to management.
• Reports any deviations from policies, procedures, brand standards, and regulations to management.
• Complies with all guest service basics such as uniforms, name tags, and proper guest greetings.
• Knowledgeable about hotel facilities and services to assist guests as appropriate.
• Ensures all communication containing Company, hotel, brand, and guest information is consistent with privacy policies, practices, and regulations.
• Impresses guests with quality and timely service in a pleasant and friendly manner.

• Candidates must have a work permit and proper paperwork to be employed in the USA.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are required.
• Prior server experience is a plus.
• Successful TIPs training and the ability to use the micros system are required.
