Schedule

12-hour shifts:
Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with on-call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) with strong orthopedic experience for our facility. The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of OR RN experience and be comfortable with the demands of the role including intermittent call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.
• Manage patient assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and administer anesthesia as required.
• Participate in post-operative care and patient education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of OR RN experience required.
• Strong orthopedic experience is essential.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Florida/Compact RN license must be active at the time of submission.
• Experience with Epic EMR is highly preferred.
• Travel experience is a plus.
