This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

10-hour day shifts, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday from 6:30 AM to 5 PM, with call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse with strong orthopedic experience to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of OR RN experience and be comfortable with call duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room environment.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure high levels of patient safety and quality care.
• Assist in the handling of instruments and supplies during surgeries.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide necessary interventions during procedures.
• Participate in the floating to other ORs at sister campuses as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse.
• Strong orthopedic experience is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Active FL/Compact license must be displayed through Nursys.
• DEGREE ACCREDITATION must be on file or 5 years of experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience is preferred.
