Location: Fort Myers, Florida
Shift: Full-Time | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Salary: $77,500 - $87,500 per year
The Role
Ambassador Healthcare at College Park is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Evening Supervisor to lead our evening nursing team and ensure the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care. This leadership position plays a vital role in overseeing evening operations, supporting staff, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.
Responsibilities- Lead and support the evening nursing team to ensure exceptional resident care in accordance with facility policies and state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Associate Director of Nursing (ADON) to plan, develop, and optimize daily nursing operations
- Participate in facility surveys and inspections, ensuring ongoing readiness and compliance
- Monitor staffing levels to maintain safe and efficient operations throughout the shift
- Conduct routine rounds to provide guidance, coaching, and performance oversight
- Address staff concerns or grievances and escalate as appropriate
- Welcome and assist with new resident admissions to ensure a smooth transition
- Accompany physicians during rounds and assist with nursing assessments
- Supervise medication administration and treatments to ensure accuracy and compliance with physician orders
- Provide hands-on nursing care as needed
- Participate in performance evaluations for LPNs and CNAs to promote accountability and professional development
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Active, unencumbered Florida RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of direct care experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric settings
- At least 1 year of nursing supervisory or management experience
- Current CPR certification
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
