Job Description

We are seeking a qualified PCU Registered Nurse to join our oncology medical progressive care unit. The role involves providing high-quality care to patients with a 5:1 patient to nurse ratio. The successful candidate will be proficient in using Epic EMR and must have BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the progressive care unit.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.
• Float to other units as required, including sister campuses.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required.
• Experience in oncology care is highly preferred.
• Chemo certification is preferred.
• Current RN license required.
• Accreditation degree must be verified in the profile.
