Schedule

12-hour day shifts on Monday, Thursday, and Friday with call requirements.

Job Description

An experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse is needed to provide exceptional patient care in a surgical setting. The role requires flexibility as floating to other ORs at sister campuses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols during operations.
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Participate in on-call duties as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in an Operating Room nursing role.
• Strong orthopedic experience is essential.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Active Florida/compact nursing license is mandatory at the time of application.
• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.
• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus.
• Degree accreditation must be available in the profile, or 5 years of experience required.
