Schedule

12-hour Day Shift, 12x3 rotation

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a 36-bed Cardiac Med Unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4-5:1. The role requires strong collaboration with the healthcare team and a commitment to delivering excellent care to cardiac patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to cardiac patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in their health status.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the EMR system, specifically Epic.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Experience in cardiac care is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Degree accreditation verification or 5 years of equivalent experience required.
