Overview
Location - Fort Myers, FL
Main duties include covering our Level-III NICU, which is a care area for very sick newborns.
Responsibilities- You will provide care for high-risk deliveries and all special services are available, except for heart surgery and ECMO (a machine that helps with breathing and heart functions).
- You will also be on-call and have 24-hour support from Nurse Practitioners.
- For basic care, you will look after healthy babies and will be available for backup help from home.
Our team works together to provide care that considers both the baby's and family's needs. We support ongoing learning and professional growth for all staff. There is a strong program for improving quality of care, and if you are interested, you can take part in clinical research.

Qualifications- A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Nursing (this is required)
- You must be Board Certified as an NNP (no other certifications accepted)
- You need an active Florida license (or be willing to get one)
- You must have over 2 years of experience as an NNP (this is required)
- A DEA license must be obtained before starting the job.
- Board Certified
- Must have a license to practice in Florida.
