Join our production team as an Electrical Assembler to build and test electrical systems for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Support custom solutions for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and data center clients using LiFePO4 batteries and low-voltage components. We provide paid training on our proprietary systems to ensure success.
Responsibilities- Wall Panels & Enclosures:
Assemble, align, seal, and install panels for BESS to protect batteries and meet IP ratings. - Conduit Work:
Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit (rigid, EMT, PVC) for wiring; secure with fittings per NEC standards. - Wiring & Termination:
Pull low-voltage wires, label, strip, crimp, and terminate in cabinets, inverters, and BMS per schematics. - LiFePO4 Battery Handling:
Safely install modules, verify specs (e.g., 3.2V cells, capacity), connect to BMS with correct polarity and torque. - Control Systems:
Mount cabinets, inverters, and BMS; wire and test for continuity, insulation, and voltage. - Assembly & Testing:
Wire low-voltage components, troubleshoot BESS, and ensure reliable power delivery. - Safety & Compliance:
Follow OSHA, NEC, LOTO, UL 9540, UL 1973, NFPA 70E; handle batteries per hazardous material guidelines. - Team & Documentation:
Collaborate with engineers, log assemblies/tests/battery details, report issues. - Inventory & Improvement:
Manage parts stock, support maintenance, and contribute to process optimizations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical assembly or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years in electrical assembly, wiring, or manufacturing.
- Basic knowledge of schematics, diagrams, and power systems.
- Skilled with hand/power tools and testing equipment.
- Understanding of NEC/OSHA safety standards.
- Detail-oriented with ability to thrive in fast-paced settings.
- Experience with LiFePO4 BESS or UPS systems.
- Hands‑on with natural gas generators (wiring/testing).
- Familiarity with UL processes, electronic assembly, or soldering.
- High‑volume manufacturing in energy storage/power generation.
Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing and production environment with exposure to electrical components, battery modules, tools, and powered equipment.
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and repetitive use of hands and arms.
- Ability to lift, carry, and position materials weighing 50 pounds or more, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Regular use of hand and power tools and electrical testing equipment requiring manual dexterity and coordination.
