GrPLC Engineer FTMY

Job Description

We are hiring a PLC Engineer (FTMY) for our processing facility in Fort Myers, FL. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment, support plant controls and automation, and contribute improvement suggestions. The position is a 2nd Shift role. Successful candidates must be safety, quality oriented, adaptable, and team oriented in a fast‑paced environment.

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical controls.
• Repair, test, and program Allen Bradley PLCs, HMI, VFDs, and other automated controls.
• Assist in creating preventive maintenance programs.
• Operate forklifts, boom lift, and scissor lift safely.
• Follow GMP and safety guidelines, keep work area clean.
• Work scheduled and unscheduled overtime and shift flexibility.
• Participate in meetings and fill in for other positions as needed.
• Operate simple shop tools such as drills, saws, grinders, and sanders.

• 5+ years manufacturing/production experience, high school or GED.
• Strong PLC programming experience with Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Experience with motion control systems, servo motors, and encoders.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for devices and networks (DH+, Ethernet).
• Ability to configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot flow, temperature, and pressure transmitters.
• Strong electrical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and own hand tools.
