National Safety Manager – remote
ISC’s team of Food and Beverage Recruiters is partnering with an international fresh produce company to identify a self‑starter and experienced National Safety Manager
.
The National Safety Manager will be responsible for development, implementation, and management of comprehensive safety programs across the company’s national operations. This role ensures compliance with safety regulations, conducts risk assessments, investigates incidents, delivers safety training, and fosters a strong safety culture across all company locations.
Location is flexible, but preferred location-Dallas TX, Southwest Florida, and Knoxville, TN areas.
National Safety Manager MandatoryQualifications:
- Building out programs, multiple sites
- 5+ years of Safety Management experience for multiple operating locations nationwide
- Food Industry experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of OSHA policies, rules, and regulations
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, leadership, and communication skills
- Self‑starter, driven, assertive, strategic, mechanically inclined
- Passport
- Ability to travel up to 35%

- Base salary of $110,000+ DOE, generous annual bonus $10k‑15k, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401k, Vacation, PTO
- Establish, develop, and implement standardized safety programs and policies across multiple locations nationwide
- Conduct site inspections and audits – ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations
- Incident investigation and reporting – analyze root causes and implement corrective actions
- Monitor KPI’s
- Provide leadership and guidance to site safety managers, operations managers, human resources, and other departments.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans
- Create reports on safety trends and make recommendations to senior leadership
