Maintenance Supervisor Job Highlights- Salary starting at $63,000 based on experience

Assumes responsibilities for overall maintenance of facility. Responsible for preventative maintenance, painting and repairs inside and outside the facility to provide a safe, attractive and orderly environment for the benefit, use, enjoyment protection of residents, staff and visitors.
Required QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - High School Diploma or equivalent
- Boiler’s license (1st class and above) where applicable.
- Proficient in English. Must have the ability to read and write in English
- Able to follow both verbal and written English instructions
- Ability to follow proper safety protocols
- Know how to turn the water valve and electricity off in case of emergency
- Graduate of trade or vocational school, with courses in blueprint reading, mechanical drawing, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC equipment, refrigeration and electricity.
- Minimum of three (3) years full-time experience in construction or maintenance of equipment, utilities and buildings.
- Develops and reviews Maintenance policies and procedures on an annual basis.
- Plans, schedules, supervises, delegates and participates in maintenance and repair work, including, but not limited to, masonry, carpentry, painting, gardening, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, air conditioning and heating; monitors staff for completion of work on a timely basis.
- Administers personnel functions of Maintenance Department.
- Assigns, schedules, supervises and evaluates maintenance personnel.
- May be on-call for emergencies twenty-four (24) hours-a-day.
- Performs daily audits of boiler room and records gauge and meter readings.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Executive Director.
