Bag Mover – Daifuku

Under minimal direction, aligns bags to ensure they enter the EDS machines.

• Aligns luggage to ensure it enters the EDS machine without jamming.
• Moves baggage from default pier and make‑up units to carts and delivers to appropriate location.
• Operates Manual Encode Station using a handheld barcode reader.
• Assists with clearing bag jams throughout the system.
• Completes all safety training as assigned by the Company.
• Complies with all ELS safety programs, policies and procedures.
• Performs additional duties/assignments that may be required by management from time to time.
• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
• Ability to work a non‑traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.

• Previous work experience in an Airport environment.
• Any mechanical/electrical experience.

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the Company’s insurance policy.
• Must be able to comply with the ELS Drug and Alcohol policy.

Works under the Airport Terminal. May be around dust, dirt, moving machinery, temperature changes, heights and noise levels below OSHA minimum requirements. Use of PPE is required.
