Floor Technician Fort Myer

Full-Time Floor Tech – Fort Myers, FL

Office Pride is a local commercial cleaning company serving the Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties. We are looking for an experienced Floor Technician. We provide supplies and offer flexible schedules that can fit around most any schedule.

• $19.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience) – paid bi‑weekly direct deposit
• W‑2 employee (NO 1099); we pay taxes on you
• Travel time pay

• This is somewhat flexible depending on the day and the jobs; example:
  Monday‑Thursday 3:30 p.m.‑1:00 a.m.;
  Sunday 8:30 a.m.‑6:00 p.m.
• Position will start part‑time and may become full‑time.

• Receives work orders and schedules from supervisor.
• Drives van equipped with buffers and scrubber machines, tools and supplies to the work site.
• Buffs, strips and waxes floors to remove effects of dirt, soot and stains.
• Places fans in strategic room locations as needed and/or wet floor signs.
• Inspects completed floor care to ensure conformance to standards, including returning furniture and other items to their original location.
• Uses heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums and buffers.
• Other duties may be assigned as required by scope of work or customer needs, which could include window washing, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, taking out trash, wet wiping and other cleaning tasks.
