Title: Experienced Construction / Commercial Litigation Attorney
Location: Fort Myers, FL (Onsite)
Role OverviewSeeking an experienced Construction and Commercial Litigation Attorney to handle complex litigation matters from case strategy through trial. This role involves direct client interaction, courtroom advocacy, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation in a fast-paced litigation environment. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in construction disputes and commercial litigation and is confident managing cases independently.
Responsibilities- Handle construction and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, and trials
- Represent clients in court proceedings with confidence and professionalism
- Develop case strategies and provide clear legal guidance to clients
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective case management
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active admission to the Florida Bar
- Demonstrated experience in construction and commercial litigation
- Strong knowledge of court procedures and litigation strategy
- Proven deposition and trial experience
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing abilities
